Endlich! Wenn schon Groundspeak seine Website ständig verschlimmbessert, machen Andere wenigstens gute Arbeit. Project-GC hat ein Greasemonkey Skript veröffentlicht:

2015-05-07 - Greasemonkey script available

With some great help from Surfoo we have finally managed to be able to publish the first version of our Greasemonkey script. Idea and initial version was created by lillfiluren.

Greasemonkey scripts are for those that are a bit techie. In short it's a client side javascript that modifies web pages. The purpose of our Greasemonkey script is to make Geocaching.com have some useful links to Project-GC.com. The Greasemonkey script can be used by anyone, but many of its features only works for our paying members.

Some of the features that already are implemented:

Add to VGPS form (from geocache pages).

Adds FP% and Wilson score to the cache pages.

Adds challenge checker links to challenge caches, if a checker exist.

Add a reverse geocoded address below the geocache coordinates.

Clones number of logs per type to the top of the cache page.

Add a "latest logs" to the top of the cache page.

Add links to Profile stats for cache owners.

Shows the real cache owner name after "placed by".

Add links to Profile stats for every profile name in the logbooks.

Adds a copy friendly link to the geocache page top right.

Adds links to Project-GC gallery from cache pages.

Add country/region/county data from Project-GC.com to Geocaching.com.

Minor adjustments to tidy the web.

Add links after bookmark lists on geocache pages.

The latest version can be found at Greasyfork and works well with both Firefox and Chrome (using Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey).

We do have some more features planned, meanwhile feedback and ideas are welcome. We prefer if you present your ideas using our forum.

Schon mal GC little helper ausprobiert?
