Einige Verbesserungen betreffen auch das Geocaching und - die im GPS-Gerät "eingebauten" Karten können nun auch auf dem PC genutzt werden.

Ich habe auf meinem Mac mit 10.6.3 die neuste BaseCamp Version 3.0.1 installiert. Die Applikation lässt sich nicht starten. Symbol hüpft im Dock ein paar Mal und regt sich dann nicht mehr. Habe sämtliche Cache-Dateien und .plist gelöscht. Ohne Erfolg. Auch Neustart brachte nichts. Schöner Käse...

Jetzt geht es! Ich habe folgendes gemacht. Mit Suche-Funktion im System (insbesondere "Preferences"-Ordner) habe ich nach allen "Garmin" und "Basecamp"-Dateien suchen lassen. Diese habe ich entfernt. Anschliessend habe ich Base Camp 3.0.1 nochmals installiert. Dann ging es!

Vermutlich hat eine ältere Plist-Datei die vorgängige Installation beeinflusst...

 

Achtung: Wer in den Systemdaten einfach Dateien verschiebt oder gar löscht, soll bitte genau wissen, was er tut!
